Another typhoon

So, I didn't get to blog yesterday 'cause I had no electricity the entire day. (Actually, when I left this morning, I still had no electricity. I'm in the office now.) Anyway, there was another typhoon, typhoon Pedring, and it was pretty intense. Like the waves of Manila Bay were literally taller than the coconut trees. It was a mix of Millenyo (strong wind) and Ondoy (heavy rain). Thank God it only lasted for about a day.

(credit to whoever owns this picture)

The weather is still pretty gloomy, but at least the rains have stopped. I headed to work in none other than my boots 'cause you know how I hate getting my feet wet. I hope you're still enjoying the warm California sun! Hopefully things will turn up for us, too.

I miss you Alex Pajaro!

Work, work, work.

Okay, so I was so scared to go to work today. Like really. But surprisingly, it was fine. I mean, minus the occasional stares and whispers, I made it through the day. A whole lot of them were still talking about what happened last Friday, but (thank God) they were sorta civil. I mean, I love the company that I'm OJT-ing for, but honestly, I think I just entered the wrong industry in general. I don't think I can see myself doing that for the next 10 years. To be in advertising, you really have to love what you do. The pay isn't so good (unless you're like.. extremely brilliant) and the workload is in the extremes. By that I mean, it's either you're doing NOTHING or you're doing EVERYTHING. So you really have to be passionate about it.

Anyway, I super miss you. I wish I could rant to you (like through text, not blog) and wait for your replies of how I shouldn't stress about these things because I'm awesome and that I'm good at what I do. Not that I'm saying I'm really good or whatever, it's just that, I need the affirmation from my best friend. I've been feeling extremely down for the past few days and I could really use some hugs. :(

Well, I promised you I'd update you with things happening here (at least in the scope of what I know). So let me start with what happened during Skechers. (Just pretend you care for a few more sentences hahaha) Anyway, it's super sad cause it's the first time CADs didn't make it to the finals. :( It super made me sad. Actually, it made all of us sad! Like, we LOOOOVE competing with CADs because we know they've got it. Like, unlike the other schools who always do 'showtime-like' routines, they're technical, they're classy and they're amazing! So yeah. :(

On the more general side, it's raining really hard. Like some schools suspended today, but since I'm already 'working', obviously we're not part of that. Super sucks. I wish we had warm sunshine. All gloomy weather is making me so emo! Effff. Anyway, I love you! Talk to you soon!

I miss you, Alex Pajaro!

No goodbyes

..Just see you laters!

It's 6.30 pm and you already texted your I love you texts. Your flight is at 10, but you know I can't be there with you at the airport. The gravity of you leaving is just finally hitting me today. I'm really sad. I had a bad Friday night, and all I want to do is drive over to your house, eat my way to happiness and cry myself to sleep in your soft comforters. You're one of the only people who understand how I function and how I think.

When I was making this blog in the office, a bunch of people thought it was for a boyfriend or whatever. I guess they don't really think people make things like these for their best friends. And I guess that's what makes our relationship work. We're not cheesy (at least I'm not), but once in awhile, we conform to the cheesiness. We don't talk everyday, but we still know what's happening to each other. We don't see each other all the time, but when we do, we act like we just saw each other the previous day. Our friendship is intensely weird, but I can't imagine my life without it. I love you!

I miss you, Alex Pajaro!

HELLO!

Dear Alex,

So, I thought you were leaving today. I was supposed to go to the airport after work, but then you told me your flight was moved due to some reason involving Charles & Canada. Anyway, I'm still at work now (it's almost 7) 'cause I'm waiting for my driver to pick up my brother after his training. I'll probably see you for (late) dinner at around 9 in your house. I find it quite weird writing in this blog right now 'cause I know you're still here, but whatever. You'll find out about this soon enough. If you're reading this now, you're probably in the states already and I would've probably already posted this link on your wall.

In case you're wondering, the point of this blog is to update you about my life. I know with my busy schedule (and most likely your busy schedule when you start school) we won't really have a lot of time to chat or Skype, and I don't want to keep posting random stuff on your Facebook wall for the whole world to see, so I decided to make a blog instead. I'll try to update you as much as possible about everything going on with me, as well as what's happening in the Philippines (if you care).

Well, this is getting quite lengthy and I have to go pack up now, so I guess I'll just see you tonight.

I (will) miss you, Alex Pajaro!

This is blog dedicated to my best friend, Alex Pajaro, who will be studying in FIDM this fall. Since we'll be roughly about 7,295 miles away from each other, I decided to start this blog so I could still update her with my life without having to worry about the time difference or whatsoever. So Alex Pajaro, if you're reading this, know that you are indeed being missed!
