Merry Christmas update!!!

I can't believe I survived my first Christmas without you here! & you know how much I love the Christmas season. (unlike New Year's!) I'm so glad it was everything I expected plus more. 2011 was definitely a GREAT year (all things considered).

Anyway, this is my update for the last two weeks leading up to Christmas day! Last December 14 and 16 I finally got to dance with LSDC again. We had a PR in 1 Esplanade and Resorts World. It was fun and I felt so stressed cause I learned 3 dances in like a week and a half over the span of only 4 training days 'cause it was finals week.

The one in Resorts World was the all girls routine they used in Lactacyd. I swear it, I really felt like I didn't know how to dance na. Hahaha

Last December 19 t0 20, I had my annual block christmas party in Mica's place again in Tagaytay. Yes, the same place 2 years ago where... THAT happened. & I am so sorry to inform you that I even drunk texted... THAT at 3 am ish. Deliks. Hahaha

Wild night. That's all I can say. Jack, Cuervo, Jinro, a keg of Heineken, Absolut... THANK YOU LORD I HAD NO PLUS ONES.

On the night of the 20th was LSDC's Christmas party at Ella's. The theme was God's and Goddesses of candy. Marts and I decided to go as the God and Goddess of Twix. I got back to Manila at around 4, got to Taft at around 5, and we started making our costume at 5.30. I bought Gold cloth and made the Twix logo out of glitters. Guess whaaaaat, we won best costume of the night! :) Hurray!

Oh, and on the 22nd was our random Team Bum Christmas dinner. (I know, there's too much events!) I super wanted to Skype with you that night, but for some weird reason, we didn't. And I was so drunk I don't even remember much of that night. Seriousss. Here's what I found on my photo booth the next day...

Which makes me wonder what time I got drunk. Pretty early I'm guessing. But we finished drinking at like 4.30 or 5 am! Freakin' wine. It's the wine's fault. I should just stick to beer.

Which brings me to yesterday! Christmas Eve! You weren't online so I just posted a picture on your wall. I super miss you babe! Like really. Super random funny stuff have been happening to me and sometimes I just really wanna call you up and tell you about it and then it hits me that you're 7,000 miles away. THANK YOU LORD FOR TECHNOLOGY! But tell me your address in LA 'cause I really wanna send you something! :)

Spontaneous Friday.

Hi babe!

You know I never sleep earlier than 6 am. So yestt, I was so exhausted when I got home at around 12.30 (early, I know, but seriously) My day was hella random, but you know how much I love spontaneity. & I'm impulsive, so plans don't really work with me. :)

Anyhoo, I slept at 6 am and ended up waking up at 6.30. (craaaazy) I went to school to submit something and then had a prod meeting for street. I walked in the rain. Twice. I don't even understand why it's raining so much. It's December, for goodness sake! My thesis mates ended up going to Glorietta and they asked me to follow. Since I didn't really have any plans that day, I went. And everything else followed! Here's a short recap of my loooong day :)

I ended up shopping. I bought a cross necklace (I just can't stop! Another to add to my collection of cross necklaces) and a gold cuff from F21. (Again, pardon the ugly photos. My phone sucks.)

While waiting for Jells and Gio to finish their shoot, I met up with Drew and Sha (so random! They were in Greenbelt as well) in Pinkberry (where Andro now works)

Andro treated me to watermelon flavored yogurt + mochi + mangoes :) It was really gooooood! I'm not really a fan of watermelon, but I was definitely a fan at that moment.

When they were finished (Jells and Gio, I mean) I went with them as they made pull outs from Jun Escario, Maureen Disini, Natalya Lagdameo, & Malou Romero. (Yes, I even remembered their names, I can't believe it myself) By the end of the day, all the stuff was we pulled out was prolly worth more than Gio's car.

It was around 8 when we decided to hit Banapple in Katipunan. Believe it or not, it was my first time there. Food was actually pretty good! We all got pasta and we all finished it. (Except jells, so Gio and I finished it for her. hahaha)

I absolutely missed Gio! I haven't seen him in ages! And my God, his life now is so colorful. Seriously, go ask him. Like I'm no Paris Hilton beside him. I'm more like Mother Teresa compared to him! HAHAHA (sorry G, but you know it's true!)

And of course, like how I end all my days, Jella and I ended up grabbing a beer before heading home. It stopped raining and the weather was pretty awesome. A nice chilled beer was perfect. Also, and cause Mike picked me up! So I didn't drive home! Yaaaay :)

So that's what I did yesterday. And because of that, I slept for more than 12 hours today. To make up for my lack of sleep. That's all.

I'm sorry!

Hi babe!

I know it's been over a month since I last wrote to you, but it's not because I don't miss you, because I do. Every single day! Yesterday I passed by 9th street and it super made me sad because the only reason why I ever use that street is because I'm on my way to your house, or going home (drunk, most of the time) from your house. And I got red streaks in bench fix (the one near your house) and the guy asked me if I've been there before then I said once and then I remembered you again cause that's where we got our hair done for valentines a couple of years ago. Haaaay.

Anyway! No more sad cheesy bullsh*t. You know I don't like that crap. (except when I'm really in the loving mood hahaha) I'm done with thesis! Hurray! *trumpet sounds* Our defense kind of tanked cause we got a shitty panel (Okay, they weren't shitty, they were just difficult. Very difficult.) And we only got an 84 average. I felt bad. Really bad in fact that I ended up drinking a bottle of wine in school. Yes, IN school. Like in a classroom. But hey, at least I can check that off my bucket list.

We also proposed a mobile app for both iPhone and Blackberry.

That's actually a press kit. You have to fold in half first and then by thirds.

Lamp post ads. They have reflectorized stickers so they kinda glow at night.

Can't post the others na 'cause they're either videos or scale models. But that's super kulang pa. I mean, what I showed you. There's a TVC, movie earphones, speed radar, virtual tour website, drive to site banner ad, in-store wood panels, in-store glass windows, an event, advertorials.. and the list goes on and on and on. I can't believe I'm done with thesis.

Stressssss

Hi Babe.

So I've been busy working on my thesis. I don't go home for 3 or 4 days at a time. I'm so tired. :( And my vices have skyrocketed to the roof. I practically drink everyday and smoke 10x more than I used to. It's crazy. I have the same lifestyle as a call center agent. :|

Check out what I have to get done by Monday. That's 9 things. TV commercial, 3 different layouts for print times 2 (magazine & newspapers), mobile app pegs times 2 (iPhone & Blackberry), Website with a virtual tour (which, btw, I have no idea how to make yet!) and more. I just want to cry. No weekend for me, that's for sure. And to think that it's my birthday week :( huhuhu

Anyway, you haven't been writing, but I'm guessing it's because you're busy with midterms. I hope you're having a better week than me, but taking it from your recent status, prolly not. :( Anyhoo, I have to get back to work. I have to finish so we can go to Banchetto tonight for the lantern festival. Gonna make a wish for 11.11.11! I'll try to post pictures next time.

Edit: They cancelled the wish lanterns :( So I have no plans tonight. huhu

So, I don't really know what's happening to me. Like I don't know why, but I feel like I'm slipping right back to my old self. Like my dark days, you could say. Last night I was seriously buzzed. To the point that it's 6 pm right now and I still have a major headache. Aaaaahhhh my brain is throbbing.

I've been drinking a lot again and it scares me. That's my only update. Oh, and I seriously need to get laid.

Hey babe!

How are you? So sorry haven't been posting! I've been on vacay. I mean, I got the weekend off from thesis 'cause my group mates all had family shizz. So, safe to say, I went all out and didn't stay home the entire weekend + monday.

Friday, I went to casa nami to have a chill night, but ended up in fiamma. I went home pretty early though. I mean, like 1 ish. Saturday, I crashed this debut in 7th high with Jells and omg what is open bar. Like I don't think I ever NOT had a drink in my hand. It was hella craaazy. And then we got this brilliant idea to head over to Elements in greenbelt. I was 'kinda' buzzed already and I don't even know how we made it. HAHAHA

Oh yeah, plus guess who I saw. Yeah, I don't want to get into that. But I know you know. He was being weirder than usual. I mean, you know how he is naman around me, but last Saturday was weirder. & I'm not really comfortable telling you all this through this blog, but i'll tell you everything if we ever talk. Or if I even still care by that time. :)

So, yesterday was halloween. I didn't really go trick or treating 'cause my parents just got back from Europe. We picked them up in the airport then had dinner. I was planning on staying in, but decided to have another chill night with sina Drew. The theme of the night for our costumes was Disney so I rummaged through my closet and found something that sort-of resembled Belle. Hahaha! (see picture below) Oh well. :)

All that's missing are books! It was at such short notice, but hey, I tried. :)

From OJT mode to thesis mode!

Sorry haven't been updating you as much! Was on my last week of work and also started doing my thesis. So anyway, this is what happened last week..

Last tuesday, it was the finale event for Mega's next fashion crew at Prive. Drew and I went to support Jells. I was feeling pretty sick, but decided to go anyway. That, and cause Jella told me she would kill me if I didn't go. Hahaha

Jells didn't win. :( But hey, she made it to top 2 so that's something to be proud of. And plus, it's not like I read MEGA or whatever. I just totally free-loaded on all the booze. (yes, even if I was sick)

Champagne and lychee martinis! Just 2 of my favorite drinks. --Looking back at it now, I should've had more! Damn. I hate being sick when I'm out. Hayhayhay.

And I must admit, even if the fashion industry is full of plastics and people gearing up to get on top, I like the free stuff. But it's not an industry I ever plan to get into. So good luck babe. :)

It was also last week that we started working on our thesis. I'm still super kaduper tamad to work on it now, that's why I'm writing to you. HAHAHA but yeah. I know I have to get back to that soon.

Satur.. drinks!

After what happened to me 3 Fridays ago, I kind of stopped drinking for awhile. (Obviously, I drank enough alcohol that night to last me 6 months) But last Saturday, I actually missed it and just decided to go for it. It was just me & Drew at Jella's anyway.

Our drinks for the night! (Imagine, we were only 3 okay!) & I know GSM is super gross and very high school, but I just found it at home and decided to bring it along with me. We found it to be useful when we made skittles shots. We also made our own coco lychees with the Boracay rum. It tasted pretty good.

Skittles shots! We're diluting it first to get the flavor out. These were the shots we took while playing Drunken Tower...

Drunken Tower is like Jenga or Uno Stacko, except that some blocks have things written on them like 'Drink One', 'Drink Two with Player to the Left', or even 'Everyone Drinks One'. It was pretty funny and we got a pretty good buzz after. :)

Anyway, sorry if the pictures are kinda dark (or if they kinda suck) 'cause my phone.. well, you know what my phone is like. HAHAHA!

Oh, P.S., I dropped by your house and Gina let me get my clothes and she gave me my paper cutter also. & then it made me sad cause shinj keep barking at me and he didn't know me anymore and I didn't want to leave and it was just so sad. :(

BUUUUT, I love that we're both doing our things making our mark in the world. I'll see you soon babe!

My new favorite hang-out.

So I totally miss your house. I miss hanging out in your room, watching tv in your mom's room, working out in King's room, passing out in your living room, pigging out in your dining room, stealing food from your refrigerator in your kitchen, and even smoking in your veranda!

I've been looking for a place to hang out at. Last night, I drove all the way to Valle 6, to Sam's house just to hang out. It's not as convenient as driving to your house, which is like a mere 4 or 5 blocks away. & it's not like I can crash her place all the time since she'll be going back to the states next year.


So, I'm not sure if you've ever seen my terrace, but I used to have a pond. They recently covered it up and cemented it since it's like a dengue zone and my parents became very paranoid after both my sister and I got dengue. So I took one of those fold-up chairs, grabbed my cigarettes and headed outside. Believe it or not I was there for about an hour and a half. It was pretty cozy. Nothing like your house, but better than nothing.

McDo Taft

Good morning!

I'm only saying that 'cause I'm like an hour early for work. Like seriously no one is here. Hahaha Anyway! Just realized I haven't blogged in awhile & I really took the pictures below for you. I went to McDo Taft (the newly renovated one) just last week and OMG it's so beautiful. You'd agree with me that it looked like sh*t before, but now, move over McDo katip!

Some walls are painted with stripes, others have swirls, while most are wood. & They have these cute lamp things hanging above tables closest to the walls.

I tried taking a picture of what it looked like, but Igi's face is in the way. I took like 2 more after this one, but they were both blurry. Besides, at least I posted a picture of Romeoooo for you (hahaha babe I laugh every time I think of you asking me if he's only one person)

Here's Rash eating fries. I rode home with her 'cause obviously I don't like commuting. They had training. I didn't train. Well, actually, I don't wanna train anymore. Soooo lazy.

Steffi was there too. She got apple pie and a milkshake. (P.S. They didn't have ice cream, but they had milkshake. Which, by the way, tasted like melted ice cream. We came to a conclusion that their machine is broken 'cause it can't freeze stuff.)

Anyway, sorry for such a useless post. Just wanted to share. Oh oh oh, we also won the Lactacyd all girls compet last Saturday. Year of the championships! Yahooo

Another typhoon

So, I didn't get to blog yesterday 'cause I had no electricity the entire day. (Actually, when I left this morning, I still had no electricity. I'm in the office now.) Anyway, there was another typhoon, typhoon Pedring, and it was pretty intense. Like the waves of Manila Bay were literally taller than the coconut trees. It was a mix of Millenyo (strong wind) and Ondoy (heavy rain). Thank God it only lasted for about a day.

The weather is still pretty gloomy, but at least the rains have stopped. I headed to work in none other than my boots 'cause you know how I hate getting my feet wet. I hope you're still enjoying the warm California sun! Hopefully things will turn up for us, too.
